Yet another streaming service has hiked up their subscription prices as Aussies continue to pay more for their entertainment.
Google’s video streaming platform, YouTube, announced fees for their subscription-based Premium membership increased in Australia on Wednesday after the US saw a price jump in July.
While using the platform is free, users are forced to watch ads before, during and after videos.
The cost for watching videos ad-free, downloading videos for offline, soap2day (soap2day.media) 1080p resolution and access to Youtube Music is $16.99 per month.
It’s said to be the ‘first ever price increase for your subscription’ (in Australia).
Premium subscribers will notice the price rise on their next billing cycle.
