What to Expect Working at the Bureau of Parks and Lands
Become a Maine State Park Lifeguard!
The Maine State Park lifeguard group is browsing for certified individuals with marine experience (swimming, surfing) and a strong public security aptitude (management, coaching, mentoring) who have their lifesaving, CPR and Emergency treatment certifications ** to join us this summer season. Our lifeguards take terrific pride in protecting beach-goers and themselves. Find out more about ending up being a Maine State Park lifeguard below.
** Get your Lifesaving, CPR & First Aid certifications now! Lifeguard Courses – now with Maine State Park Lifeguard Coordinator, Sean Vaillancourt. Call or text 207-557-2391, or email Sean. – Next Training Session = March 17, 18, 19 & 25 in Bath, Maine. Reserve your area now with Sean.
Course Fee Reimbursement – If you pass an accredited lifeguard course and the Maine State Park Lifeguard Academy and work a total season as a lifeguard with Maine State Parks, your lifeguard course fee will be repaid.
Training Resources consist of the Red Cross, YMCA, UMaine, and regional colleges and schools.
